Today isn't exactly the first day of sch but the first day of sch since the recess week (one week break). Kind of tired but manage to finish the things I've set for myself today. Tmr i've a Forensic Science mid-term quiz. This module is cool... very cool indeed. Get to see pics that I won't be able to see my entire life unless I take this module. I've no chance!!!! =) Algor mortis is the reduction in body temperature after death. Rigor mortis is a recognisable sign of death (Latin "mors, mortis") that is caused by a chemical change in the muscles, causing the limbs of the corpse to become stiff (Latin "rigor") and difficult to move or manipulate. It takes 36 hrs to subside to relaxation. Livor mortis or postmortem lividity, one of the signs of death, is a settling of the blood in the lower (dependent) portion of the body, causing a purplish red discoloration of the skin: when the heart is no longer agitating the blood, heavy red blood cells sink through the serum by action of gravity.
